I was leery of “natural” or “herbal” sprays from past experiences where those types of products didn’t work. When I opened the first bottle and smelled it, I thought, “This stuff smells so good, I doubt it will repel flies. It will probably ATTRACT them!” Boy, was I wrong. As you can see from the rest of this web site, our main business is teaching people to train their horses and fixing horse training problems. Turns out, the spray works amazingly well, even repelling the green-headed horse flies and the huge, black “bomber” horseflies that bite really hard and drive horses crazy. It works better than many of the sprays containing pesticides and other harmful chemicals. What sets it apart from other effective herbal sprays? None of our horses, and none I have heard of, have had any reactions to it as has happened with some other herbal sprays. The reactions with other repellents were things such as blistering skin on the nose, hives or sheath swelling on the geldings. In over 7 years of use, we’ve never had a reaction or any problem with LPC Espace fly spray. I even spray it on ME to keep the bugs off, especially gnats.
